ADVANSA introduces the first filling fiber made with activated charcoal obtained by the carbonation of a plant, the water chestnut, for its high capacity of gas absorption, toxins, bacteria, and pesticide residues.
Suprelle® Activated Charcoal is a recycled hydrophilic hollow fibre mixed with activated charcoal during production.
In addition to its moisture absorption and moisture wicking properties, Suprelle® Activated Charcoal fibrefill offers a great softness, all-seasons insulation in duvets and the right support for pillows and mattress toppers.
An immersion test demonstrates the water absorption rate of Suprelle® Activated Charcoal breathable fibres compared to a standard polyester fibre filling.
Suprelle® Activated Charcoal absorbs water as it sinks, drawing moisture away from the sleeper to create a pleasant microclimate.
